Describe the theme of your wedding and why you chose this theme: We chose a modern vintage wedding theme. I absolutely love everything about vintage glamour and decided to incorporate a modern feel to complement the relaxed and intimate gathering. It is a beautiful blend of themes when you do not want to go full circle with vintage aspects.
Colour scheme: dusty purples and pinks
Ceremony location: Holy Family Church East Granville, NSW.
Reception location: L’Aqua, Cockle Bay Wharf
Describe the Brides dress: The dress was an embellished lace floor length gown with a mermaid silhouette, and a scalloped sweetheart neckline. The dress featured a satin band with handmade silk and tulle flowers with crystal detail.

Describe the Bridesmaids outfits: The bridesmaid dress was a floor length empire line dress with a ruched bust in a gunmetal purple. From Sheike.

Stationery/ bonbonniere: The invitations were designed by us and printed by Vista print.
The bonbonnieres were laser cut filigree boxes with dome tops and ribbon enclosures, filled with purple, white and silver wrapped Belgian chocolates.
Our place card were filigree butterflies that perched beautifully on to the wine glasses.
Cake: The cake was a two-tier chocolate mud cake with pearl icing, featuring delicate hand made sugar flowers in dusty purple and ivory. The cake also featured flower applique detail and crystal accents. By Van Mae Cakes
Flowers: The bridal bouquet featured David Austin roses in soft pink and white.
The bridesmaid bouquet and flower girl basket featured David Austin roses with bursts of purple and pink seasonal flowers. By I Do Wedding Flowers.
Entertainment: Dj By Musiq Entertainment and Drummer By Night Shift Boyz.
Transport: Chrysler 300c stretch limousine in silver, by In Style Limousines.

Describe your day: Our day was as amazing as every wedding day should be.
The day went off without a hitch! The suppliers were wonderful and went over and beyond our expectations, which played a major part in the planning and running of the day. It allowed us to truly enjoy and experience every moment and emotion.
What were your favourite parts of your Wedding Reception: The whole thing!
From the moment we walked in, up until the moment we left was nothing short of amazing. On the night we really felt that we could not have chosen a better venue.
The food was Delicious, well presented and generous. The service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble! The guests were so impressed and to top it off we had the most amazing view!
Any Tips for Future Brides & Grooms: Choose your suppliers carefully! It can make all the difference to your stress levels on the day, and during the planning process. Also, don’t sweat the small things.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our Dockside Group Brides and Grooms: You will not be disappointed with this venue! Every aspect is superb.
